This is a board for discussing Atheism, Religion, Dogma and everything like it in a rational and logical way. This site is about enlightenment. We are looking for free thinkers, and people who are not afraid to look rationally at religion, and the issues it causes.

Of course, religious people are welcome here too--so long as they aren't afraid to discuss their beliefs in an open and frank manner.

I hope you enjoy this board as much as I will enjoy having it :D

So, is there any significance to the term "gnawed" for this site?

It's been gnawing at me.

Basically, just that.. Religion gnaws at society, people, etc.. It's just meant to convey a little bit of tension, etc.. :)

But, there really isn't that much of a secret behind it.

DAmn. I was hoping it had some deep psychological meanings.

Aspirin just prayed louder.. Then, the invisible hand of god moved my mouse to this thread and I found myself answering it. Praise be god.. :alberteinstein:

One question: Why can 80x80 custom avatars be 19.5 KB, but signature pictures that are 500x100 can only be 9.8 KB?

If this is in the process of changing or something, I apologize, but it just didn't make sense to me.

Plus if you make the n silent instead of the g, you get gawed. Like, oh. my. gawed. :p

I have a question about the smilies. Any chance of getting them separated into categories? There are sooooo many of them and it's hard to find the one I want. Consequently, I don't use them as much.

I'm on another forum that uses the same software (whatever it is, even though I notice some differences, it's pretty obvious it's the same) and people use smilies up the wazoo because it's so easy to find the one you want. They have categories, like "happy" "sad" "dancing" etc.

I even volunteer to assist in the taxonomy!

Absolutely it can be broken up into categories.. It's just a LARGE job.

Let me figure out a way to do it easily for you, and I'll set you up with the access to do it. :)
