Picket Fences was the reason we bought a satellite TV system, back in the old days when you had to have the big-assed 8 foot dish that moved and scanned the havens. The local NBC affiliate owned by the Mormon church decided that the program was not suitable for the local conservative market and censored several episodes replacing them with back to back episodes of Murphy Brown. That pissed me off so it got the dish and enjoyed my favorite shows from the Raleigh NC stations. BTWm Picket Fences season one is just now coming out on DVD.
