While I agree it's more likely than not that information about what really happened has been covered-up, the reality is probably much more mundane than a murder cover up. (has anybody established a credible motive for example). Obviously, we'll probably never know for sure, but I think somebody just screwed up really bad, and the government doesn't like admitting to mistakes...
