Hello to all,
I am a Christian, who is interested in participating in respectful conversation/debate with non-believers of God. Is that sort of thing permitted here or is this board specifically reserved for the fellowship of non-believers/atheists? Either response is fine and I'll abide by the rules of this place. Just thought I’d ask.

I'm sure David (our fearless leader) will confirm that we welcome all who are willing to engage in debate on these issues. We have several Theists who join us, post regularly and, I think, still like us. :)

Of COURSE you can join us! I LOVE people who can discuss their ideas in a rational and sane manner. Learning isn't just about being spoon fed the stuff you already know.

I think I join most in saying, and Hector will back me up on this, we like believers. We want to know how you think, how you've weighed the evidence to come to the conclusions you done so in your life, but if you come to proselytize, We'll show no mercy . So yeah, it's OK for you to be here. Take that as a welcome!

I think one of the things that's triggered the death throes of any dying forum that I've been on, is when everyone on the board has the same way of thinking about things. Rational debates help keep your brain working, but you only get a good debate when you don't agree with your counterpart.

So, short answer - yeah, it's okay for you to be here:D.
