U.S. Government to Release New Dollar Coins



You guessed it -

If ever there was a reason to boycott something,

DO NOT ACCEPT THE NEW DOLLAR COINS AS CHANGE

Together we can force them out of circulation.
Please send to all on you mail list !!!

I would like it if the words were removed [as well as the 1950's addendum to the Pledge of Allegiance]... but of course they haven't been. I laughed.. then I shook my head after reading it. Then I emailed the sender with the news that the words are there... just not on the front of back. They are on the edge. The words aren't gone... but it's a start.

No, I didn't get into a discussion about how ridiculous boycotting a coin is.

When it was initially discovered, the coins were selling on ebay for hundreds of dollars each. IIRC there were only about 50,000 released... and it was on the east coast. Some people made a killing.
