I hail from Utah and watch the daily prayer vigils for the trapped miners. I can't say the prayers are all for naught, they do comfort the families, if they believe. Thing is, miners watching the rescue operations have tried not to dash hopes but their comment lead one to believe they don't give much chance for the trapped victims. So much for the power of prayer.

Nice. As you may have heard by now, NOT ONLY have the trapped miners NOT been rescued, but 9 of the rescue miners have been injured in another collapse, 3 of them have died from their injuries. I'm waiting to see what the god botherers have to say about that. You know had they actually rescued the six, they ould have praised god for the miracle he performed, with little mention of the hard work of the rescue team. Now will they blame god for his plan to take an additional 3 lives? If it weren't so tragic, it's be funny.
