Was Charles Shultz really an atheist? I was under the impression that he was religious..

I actually did a quick google search on the subject, and he described himself as a "Secular Humanist". I guess that's pretty close to the same thing, but, I am curious if he believed in a (many?) God(s)?

I thought it had some interesting points. I've never felt that an idea is more or less true based on the intelligence of its adherents, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Very true. I took the main point of the video as just a refutation of a few verses of the bible; and in that, it did a good job.

But, you're right. Just because some highly intelligent, well educated and respected individuals believe something to be true, doesn't necessarily make their ideas any more or less true. But, in this case, I can give it the benefit of the doubt :)

Powerful video, it never gets old. A Christian friend pointed out to me that Ecclesiastes 4:12 is taken out of context, and refers to prayer, not marriage. These men and women are most certainly not fools. I don't necessarily believe everyone who believes the Bible is a fool, but they're a fool if they can't defend their beliefs.
