Don't know how to explain this other than the writers were attempting to explain and/or demonstrate their God was more powerful than any other competing god. But, that is speculation on my part with no research to back it up.

I will be teaching an Adult Sunday School class at the beginning of next year and would like to present the above statistics for them to consider. I would also like to post the above on a couple of Christian websites to see the responses. OK with you?

Don't know how to explain this other than the writers were attempting to explain and/or demonstrate their God was more powerful than any other competing god. But, that is speculation on my part with no research to back it up.
