What a fraud.

You remember Ted Haggard - the pastor of the mega church in Denver who got caught with a male prostitute and buying meth. When he resigned, they gave him a years salary of $138,000. Also, if he needs money, he owns a Colorado Springs home valued at $715,000.
However, ever the slimeball, he has hooked up with an organization that can take tax-deductible donations. He's advertising that he's looking for people who are willing to help support him while he returns to school to get his degree. To top it off, the guy who runs the center that takes the donations is a twice convicted sex offender.

Yes, but then again Ted is one uniquely undesirable individual to even the least forward thinking people.
Ted is a unique individual allright. Very creepy. Child molester kind of creepy. I wonder what the flock would have said had they only caught him drinking beer and whacking off to girlie mags. would they have run him out of town? i dunno if the meth thing bothers these fools as much as the homo thingy. they are hot. they have been betrayed. i keep asking them where is the forgiveness. they dont want to hear that though.

Richard Dawkins interviewed Ted Haggard in a 45min. documentary called the God Delusion for BBC. Here is a link to that interview: YouTube - God Delusion documentary excerpt
I wonder if the scientists he knew were the ones that cooked his meth for him? :stupido2:
Richard Dawkins also made a documentary called The Virus of Faith. It is as equally disturbing and entertaining.

You think Ted Haggard and Larry Craig are buddies? Seriously though, the grand scale off hypocrisy represented by these two is just sickening...

Actually the two were a two part BBC series called The Root of All Evil? That was the first I'd ever heard of Haggard and long before his falling from grace. The way his lips curled back just creeped me out. In retrospect I now wonder if that curl came from some sort of fallating accident.

LOL. If you have the DVD of Jesus Camp there's an extended interview with Ted in the deleted scenes feature. How anyone could have ever looked up to this guy, well aside from those on their knees......

Concept 2, E model rowing ergometer with heart rate monitor. Keeps me alive. I'm a bit out of shape. The day in question I only managed to best the 85 year old 2k meter row. 9 min 7 secs was my time the day Phrog made me laugh. My best is 8 min53 seconds. And I'm just about 10 pounds lighter that Grumpy the Bright. I can beat my 23 year old son. I row smart, thus verifying the wisdom note: Never mistake hard work for hard thinking. The screen of the damn thing has a provision of a pace boat. Dumb ass that I am, I let the pace boat be my previous row. I hate that SOB pace boat. http://www.concept2.com/us/default.asp

Someone beat me to the punch about the Jesus camp video. That is some serious scary brain washing shit going on. Seriously, those kids were demented. I especially got weirded out by the mullet-headed kid that thought he was a preacher. And the whole speaking in tongues BS! Ha! If anyone else has seen that video I just have to ask... Did anyone else think that the lead preacher lady is a closet lesbian? My wife I and think she's in some major denial.

Yeah I've seen it. I think/hope that when they get to be teenagers that rebellion factors will kick in. And yes the whole brainwash thing is a sick example of the black magic techniques the holy rollers say they despise. What a mess. Worship of personality. Olden times called it the worship of Moloch. Sacrifices then take a different form today.

I'm still not gonna' bet you my Bud Lite.
Wanna wager that Bud Light on how long it will be before Ted Haggard starts a "Christian" ala that assclown Jerry Falwell's Liberty University? My guess is within the next 5 years.

Even a Bud lite is a pussy bet. Faith in ones positions demands "The Bet."
