Ever heard of Discordians? Yeah their right up their with fsm in my opinion. Some of their ideas make me lol.

I have heard of vague references to Discordians but never delved into the lot. Thanks for that. I just spent the last half hour reading up on 'em. I can see FSM in a similar vein say 30 years from now.

Illuminatus! was pretty hilarious. That would be a good place to start for information about where it originated. A friend of mine loaned it to me a couple years ago. Otherwise, I'd have known nothing about it.

I like to think of myself as Discordian, since it practically reflects its own philosophy apart from the Daoist and Buddhist influences,but at the same time it is almost just a new spin on them to make it sound Western. Almost surprising that that kind of thought didn't exist in some form in Western thought
