This is something I posted to the MySpace Bulletin. Thought I would share it here too.
Everyone including Christians should really sign the suck it jesus (http://suckitjesus.com/) anti-censorship petition and here's why....
1) Because if there's a "good" god, he should be a fun guy. Who would worship a god without any humor. BORING! What are you going to do, hang out in heaven being sad? Humor is part of the fun of being alive. Don't you want that in your afterlife? So your god should have a sense of humor and I'm sure (if I believed in a god) he'd be up there ROFL Shoot, even when Cesar Milan's dog was called stupid, he laughed. Is god more sensitive than Cesar Milan? If he is then let him take care of what Kathy said. It's not up to humans to determine what god likes and doesn't like! Sheesh!
2) Because as a Christian you believe in god's will and your god knows everything we're going to do. So if he didn't want Kathy to say what she did he could have stopped her. He does have that power doesn't he? Oh yeah, the freewill thing. She had freewill. Wellllll if he gave her freewill to say whatever she wants, then why is anyone censoring her freewill?!?!?
If everyone has a personal relationship with god, then it's between her and god to apologize, not for the rest of the world to decide that what she said is wrong and should be censored. Hey! And if people are supposed to have this "personal" relationship with god, then why are they pretending to be this holier than though christian by thanking god in front of people like he's some sort of show? Or is that a way for everyone to show off their beliefs? I get it now. They can show off what they believe but atheists can't. Interesting.
4) Because we live in a country where freedom of speech is legal. She didn't say any cuss words on tv, which by the way, who the fuck decided that a word is a bad word anyway? Sounds christian to me.
5) Because you know in your heart Kathy is hilarious and would support her because you love her like most of the world. If you don't, then you should be censored into not allowing people know how you feel about her. Fair is fair.
So sign the petition! You know it's the right thing to do! Get out of your little christian box and have your own thought. Leave the imaginary friend in the box. He won't care if you sign it. I promise! I'll take the blame if he gets mad at you. I swear to god!
