Just saying hey. They company I work for is being purchased by HP, which means I really have to focus my time and energy into making sure my job is not going to be outsourced. I may not be around for a couple of weeks.
:saint: I'll be back.

Yes. I know how inconvenient work can be. It really gets in the way at times. When the first Doom came out I had to use a coupla' sick days.

Good luck with the aquisition--I'm sure you'll be cool. My philosophy is to insert myself, wherever possible, into the paperwork (letterheads, brochures, etc.). My name's around this office so much it'd be too damn inconvenient to get rid of me.

Yeah, life is as busy and more with the changes. To top it off, I decided to get my master's degree in technical communication. I figure, HP likes me now, but who knows what they will do with our company in the next few years. I've got to stay ahead of the game for my family's sake.
I've been accepted into a graduate program in St.Paul, MN at Metro State. My orientation is next Friday. Woo hoo!

Cool, I used to know some people at Metro State. I got my Master's from U of M. I hope your experience is better than mine was.

So how did you go from Minnesota to Denmark (or vice versa)?

By plane (har har).
I married a Danish guy and we had a little contest for who could get the better job first. He won and his job is in Denmark so I moved here in July. I grew up in Florida but lived in MN for 10 years. I went to SCSU for undergrad.
