Robin Cook can hold my attention by his masterful prose. I read it and have a new appreciation for doctors and the necessity that makes them look over their shoulder for legal issues.
Reading the final page I feel I missed a clue somewhere. I could sense legal and monetary shenanigans but could not put my finger on them, even when the ending indicated such.
A mal-practice nightmare.
Give it a 6.5. Still don't get the ending. If any gets it, let me know.
