Hello to one and all!
Call me Sadhu.
I hope to find others to discuss the current attack on human reason.
It seems that religion is executing a massive reentry into the human psyche
worldwide and, while we do not lack high profile advocates, there is a marked
shortage of average individuals engaging irrationality here on the ground.
My hope is that this forum will enjoin a sense of community among garden
variety atheists and that we will find a way to spread the light of rationality.

Remember, religion is group delusion.

Hi Sadhu,

I'm a newbie here too. I'm very much looking forward to chatting with you. Let's see what we can do about all the silliness in the world. :)

Best,
Chris

Welcome! I agree; religion is a form of group delusion. It's very scary to think that the answer "God did it" is an acceptable answer for almost everything!

Hi David,
Number theory&Cognitive Psychology was my thing. Now I raise goats
and assorted birds in rural Fl. In a perfect sea of Baptists I might add.
?How do we go about reprogamming all the crackermunchers?

The last time I used that excuse it was when I was 8 and broke my mom's lamp.

Welcome Sadhu.
