Sure, and if you want to hear him squeal like a gelded hog, tell him he has to pay taxes as a political organization.
Ever notice how good the religious are at knowing when it's their ox that's been gored? Sheesh!

I tried to watch the whole video, I really tried, but I could feel my bloodpressure climbing and decided it wasn't worth the risk. And his title includes the word 'Honorable'??? What a vile mouthed man.
I'm sure he would fight paying taxes for his church on the basis that he didn't endorse anyone, at least in the portion I was able to watch, he just trashed everyone including his own congregation. People not only put up with garbage like this but give him money? 'Tis a much stranger animal, the human, than I'd ever dreamed...

Cat, I am shocked you didn't listen to all 10 minutes.:p His references to all the money that the Clintons had bestowed on their neighborhood in the waning days of their administration brought tears to my eyes.;) And when he called the Obama supporters maggots it was all I could do to keep from tearing my pants going for my wallet to get contributions for the cause.

I got to see a little of Pastor Manning on Sean Hannity's show the other night on Fox news. Sean was amazed at Manning's insistence that Obama was trash because of his parents mixed marriage. Sean was going nuts. He couldn't believe a minister would say such. Sean considers himself religious and I think he saw how out of whack religiousity's take on things can get when postulating a supernatural bodyguard.

Last night on 20/20 there were a few black people that have a pigment disease which turns them white. Other nationalities can have it too but it doesn't show up quite as dramatically. One lovely older lady said that she's shocked at how she's treated by the black community when they don't know her and think she's white. Me thinks whites are not the majority of the racist problem.
Also, I'm sure Sean will keep in mind that Manning is an extremist in the religious sense of the word. It will not shake his faith as it does not shake the faith of the rest of the religious community. They will just acknowledge that there are extremes and they're glad they're not in his congregation. As for the congregations that have listened to him for years... Well, what can we say.
I think it's time that the black communities see themselves for their own racism and start working with the rest of the community no matter what color they are.
Although there are very few blacks in Utah, the ones I've seen the most are very nice but one is aware of a sense of discomfort. Am I reading something that isn't there? I don't think so.
One dear friend is an immigrant from Africa and she'd not been exposed to the mind set of the American black before moving here. She was shocked at their distrust and determination to be apart from the white communities to the point that she's more comfortable in the white community than she is the black community. People like Manning should be ashamed of themselves for fostering such ideas!!!
